TV Writers Are Getting Trendy: SNL Adapts TikTok Sketches

While bachelorettes with Domingo had the internet in a grip, you know what we were intrigued by? Saturday Night Live writers taking their inspo straight from the likes of some of the biggest TikTokers and trends they’ve started.

From Heidi Gardner’s depiction of a tradwife (hey, Nara Smith) to Mikey Day as the weatherman who’s constantly dancing on TikTok, we’ve got to give props to the SNL writers who are keeping up with pop culture trends in a new way that really helps bring in a new generation of viewers.
